Who we are
At Word Centered Fellowship, we give opportunities for discipleship and small groups to our members, so they can go out and reach the community.
We also hold food and clothing drives to give back to the local community. Our goal is to be a family and reach those around us for Christ.
Message from the founding Pastor
Hi, my name is Pastor Steven Bivens, and I’ve been in ministry for more than 30 years, spending most of those years in Carson, CA.
One of my favorite verses is Matthew 6:10, where Jesus tells us to pray for God’s will to be done here on earth, just as it is in heaven. I have a passion for seeing heaven invade the world through everyday people, like you and me. I enjoy the scripture, playing an instrument, fishing, reading about current events, and spending time with my family. I like to laugh, I love to smile, yet I love Jesus more than anything.
Pastor Steven Bivens has been in ministry for over 30 years. It is his passion to teach the love of Jesus and be changed by that love. His focus is to see people connect with the Lord, increase faith, and compassionately serve Jesus. He is invested in raising up, equipping, and commissioning leaders for Christ through the teachings of Biblical truth via Hebrew context.
